Snowy Owls Book for Kids
Snowy Owls are powerful, white hunters built for life on the frozen tundra. This photo-filled book explores how these incredible owls survive extreme cold, hunt across wide open landscapes, and travel south during winter months. Readers will learn about snowy owl feathers that cover even their toes, their sharp yellow eyes, silent flight, ground nests, and the vital role lemmings play in their survival.
- Snowy Owls live in the Arctic tundra, where trees are rare and winters are long.
- Their thick white feathers help them stay warm and blend into snowy landscapes.
- Unlike many owls, Snowy Owls are often active during the day.
- They hunt mainly lemmings and other small rodents beneath the snow.
- Some Snowy Owls travel south into Canada and the United States during winter.
You’ll also discover how males and females look different, why snowy owls nest directly on the ground, how scientists track their movements, and why protecting Arctic habitats is so important. Printed in a premium 8.25" x 8.25" paperback, this Snowy Owls Book for Kids invites readers of all ages to explore one of the world’s most iconic and resilient birds.

My grandson loves the incredible books! He looks on the back of every single book we have and identifies his next choice. He knows all the fun facts about each animal and asks to read them over and over again. The books are just INCREDIBLE! From skunks to hippos to red pandas and every one on his book shelf, he is overjoyed with these amazing books.
